Weinstrasse, Germany 2011

In the summer of 2011 we did a road trip through the German wine land.

This was a rare trip where nothing was planned or organized.

Day by day our journey evolved and memories were created both on our palates and visually.   After this voyage, Riesling became one of my favorite whites.

You gotta love it when a doctor makes wine!

The minerality never ceases to amaze me.  The acidity is so cleansing, which makes it an ideal food wine. A wonderful experience that I can’t wait to repeat.

As always I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
