In the summer of
2011 we did a road trip through the German wine land.

This was a rare trip where nothing was planned or organized.

a aperitivo / tasting at schloss-johannisberg in the Rheingau, big german pretzels go great with riesling |

The minerality never ceases to amaze me. The acidity is so cleansing, which makes it an ideal food wine. A wonderful experience that I can’t wait to repeat.
As always I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
